After having a laugh at Norman’s tweet, it also has to feel like a stab in the heart to Norman and Emily shippers! Their chemistry has been apparent from day one on show, and they’re even super close off-screen, too! Seriously, just check out their cute PDA. However, it seems like they’re nothing more than friendly, as both Norman slammed the rumors and his rep also denied these rumors, by telling HollywoodLife.com, “we can confirm that they are not dating.” BRB, crying a river.

The original report claimed that Norman and Emily “had a connection early on in the show,” according to Us Weekly, “but the romance developed recently.” Emily and Norman are close friends off-screen, and have fueled dating rumors because they’re just so comfortable and friendly with each other! While it’s crushing to hear they’re not dating in real life, it’s good to know they remain close — and that Norman was able to have a good laugh about it.
